Belfast City Marathon For Cameron

Monday 2nd May 2011 (This Event is Over)

Venue : Belfast

Have you seen a six foot garden gnome running around the Castlereagh Hills between Moneyreagh, Crossnacreevy and Ballygowan ? Well, fear not, because it's only Cameron Mitchell in his distinctive yellow jacket and red beanie training for the 2011 Belfast Marathon.

Cameron told Eye Feel Good " My father died of pancreatic cancer in 2002 and I have always donated when I could to cancer charities and try to do something once a year for some charity or another."
"Having decided to run in the Belfast marathon it seemed only natural I should try and raise funds for cancer awareness and having worked alongside Stuart Buick at Fusion Heating I became aware of Eye Feel Good hence my choice on this occasion."
"I keep telling people don't ask me what time I plan to finish in I just want to finish and hopefully raise a few pounds into the bargain."

We are absolutely chuffed to have Cameron taking part in the Belfast City Marathon for Eye Feel Good. He joins a number of elite fundraisers who have taken part in Marathons for us. We wish Cameron all the best for the Belfast City Marathon.
